Update – Keep up the good work on the #the1 campaign. We are hearing great reports of people saying “yes” when invited

Make sure you pick up a newsletter before you leave today. There is a lot of useful information in there including a list of jobs we need volunteers to fill. It takes a lot to keep a church running and we need all the help we can get. Please prayerfully consider helping out.

Lunch bunch will be meeting at Q-Doba in Southern Plaza at 11:00am on Wednesday, 9/27. Everyone is welcome.

Megan Donahue is getting married on Sept. 30th at 4 pm. Everyone is invited. Invitation will be hanging in the Vestibule.

Bible verses on Volunteering

  1. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people
and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:105
  2. “Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.” Proverbs 11:25
  3. “The greatest among you will be your servant.” Matthew 23:11
  4. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
  5. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Many others in and/or connected to someone in our church are in need of prayer. God knows who they are. Please help us out by giving us their prayer requests and updates, preferably written down or emailed, so we can keep the list up to date.

Please help us keep this list updated.
As members of the family of God, we are all interested in the needs and the praises of everyone.
Thank you!

Reminder: If you have a prayer request you’d like to put in the bulletin, please see Pastor Mike or Greg. We are never sure, just because we hear of a prayer request, that you want it in the bulletin and on our website. Please see us in person with your request so we can be sure.

If you have something you would like added to the bulletin, please talk to Pastor Mike or Greg and give us as much information as possible. If you would like the item to run more than 1 week, please let us know.

23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

  1. We are with .

28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.

  1. When I to forgive I the .

31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. 35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”
